Love is a Rose that Never Dies..

A handmade preserved rose in clear acrylic case,
from that special someone who means the world to me.

P.S. Let's create memories that will last a lifetime together.

I love you.

His Belated Birthday Celeb.

This year, we didn't get to celebrate his birthday together on the actual day (btw his birthday falls on February 16th). So we did it on last Saturday at Miraku Japanese Restaurant, G Hotel.

I'll let the pics speak for themselves :D

Salmon sashimi - a must have!

We ordered the sushi soba gozen to share.

Assorted sushi

Wanko soba

Tempura

Chawan-mushi

Of course, the above-mentioned food items weren't enough for us. Well, we were not greedy.. Just 2 additional dishes.. Hehehehe.

Spider roll - deep fried soft shell crab
& cucumber with mayonnaise

Tori teriyaki - grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce

Hmm I didn't quite like this dish as the sauce came out to be a bit too salty for me. And we ordered it only because I wanted to have some chicken. But it didn't go to waste - credits to the big eater. Lol :P

Anyway, here's my gift to him..

It's not just a box!

Yes, a new watch for him :)

Last Weekend.

I went to watch Safe House with my friends last Friday night.

Awesome movie! I highly recommend it.

We had our after movie-chill out session at Euro Deli, Gurney Plaza.

Edwin, Peng Chye & Yi Fei.

Yi Fei, Me, Kar Yen & Deborah.

With Lily, our most innocent friend of the circle. Lol.

Oh yeah! We finally paid a visit to Meet Fresh, Gurney Paragon for Taiwanese desserts. Since it was our first time there, we decided to try some of their top 10 hot sellers.

Double-Joy Soybean Milk
(tofu pudding + red bean ice cream +
taro ice cream + honey bean)

Meet Fresh Signature Herb Jelly (Cold)

Shaved ice + herbal jelly + taro balls + creamer (optional)

Q Mochi

Headed over to Andy's house later that night; drinking wine while watching a Korean horror movie which turned out to be so bad it was actually funny. Plus the subtitle was totally not understandable throughout the whole movie. Lol. But still, an amazing night! :)

Happy faces! :DD

There's no doubt we love hanging out with our friends and enjoying family time, but we also love having a little time together on our own.. Sunday dinner date with dearest boyfriend at Chook-Dii Thai Cuisine, Tanjung Bunga.

Deep fried pandan leave chicken.

Kailan with salted fish.

Tomyam seafood.

Let's dig in! Omnomnomnom...

Vintage oil lamp spotted at the restaurant. Randomness.

More to come... ;))
