One of my best friends, Natasha is back from New Zealand!! So I took a trip down to KL together with my bff Theresa on last Thursday to visit Natasha and some other friends there. Unfortunately, there were still a few good friends of mine I simply didn't get the time to meet as I only have 4 days, 3 nights in KL. Hopefully we can all meet up on my next trip there! ;)
Apart from that, I went to Taylor's University Lakeside Campus (oh how I've missed the place and the people!) to collect my certificate, official academic transcript and some letters from the DO personally as I was told that I'm on my university's merit awards and golden list for April 2011. WHEE!! I'm on the Chancellor's Commendation List again for being in the top 5% of my course which has about a thousand people. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it but I was pleasantly surprised. And I thought I was pretty lucky when I was on the list last year March 2010. So yeah, be happy for me! Lol.
Another piece of good news - I've just started working! Yeah, I've finally decided to accept the job offer in order to gain some relevant experience first. But then again I can't stand being unproductive (it has been almost 4 months!), so I suppose at least I'm doing something now. Plus I know I can't be too picky and have really high expectations on my first job. Anyways, today was my first day of work. Everything went rather smoothly :) My colleagues are all very friendly and helpful. Apparently I'm the youngest and I've got 3 mentors; I'll learn different things from each of them. There's no doubt I've got a lot of things to learn!
