The nearly abandoned blog

Hello! Well, I noticed I've abandoned my blog for two weeks now. Sorry guys, for the long hiatus. I've been extremely busy the last couple of weeks.

So what has been happening lately? As far as I can remember..
  • My friends and I went clubbing.
  • We've moved into a new place.
  • We went to IKEA twice in the last week to buy some furniture.
  • We met up with Angeline, Adrian's younger sister, and her friends for dinner at Mid Valley Megamall.
  • I met up with Weng Lau for lunch at Asia Cafe. Oh, we also went to Monash University and Sunway Pyramid.
  • Adrian has finally decided to be a little bit more adventurous by taking the KTM and KL Monorail to KL city. But damn, the train to KL Sentral was delayed for 30 minutes! Luckily there was no delay when we took the monorail.
  • We met up with my aunt and cousin brothers for dinner at Petaling Street the first night they arrived in KL.
  • We got stuck in the jam for 2 freaking hours. This is probably the only reason I dislike KL - its traffic jam!
  • By the time we reached my aunt's best friend's house in Kota Kemuning, it was already 1.30am.
  • We (actually it was the guys - my boyfriend and cousin brothers) were dead hungry. So all of us went for supper at nearby McDonald's.
  • Went for a shopping spree at Pavilion and Sungei Wang Plaza on the following day. The malls were jam-packed.
  • This time not so bad la, we got stuck in the jam for an hour only when we were on our way to Sunway Pyramid - the next shopping destination. We didn't have enough time for other malls like One-U, Mid Valley, The Gardens, etc.
  • Woke up pretty early the next day and had some breakfast before headed off to Genting Highlands.
  • The adults (including me la of course) went to STARWORLD, Genting's casino, while the kids (I mean those under 18 years of age LOL) went to Genting Outdoor Theme Park.
  • Bloody hell, the security guard asked me to show my IC before entering the casino. How come the rest takda kena one? Ishh..
  • Also, we went to Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Museum.
  • A lot of eating sessions and more and more shopping!!
I had lotsa fun! And I can't wait to meet up with my pregnant cousin sister this week :)

Wait wait, let me count.. I've a nephew and 2 nieces, and I'm gonna have another nephew!

I can't believe how fast time has passed. Another year is coming to an end (in three weeks time to be exact) and soon enough, another one is about to begin. Maybe it's just me but the years seem to pass much faster than they used to. Don't you feel that time flies entirely too fast? I don't want to grow old la!

Okay people, it's time for me to get ready to go out to dinner.
Have a good week ahead!

I'm back!

Finished my last paper yesterday morning at 11.35am.
Yay! I'm so happy la. Lol.

And today, Natasha invited us, Li Yen and I, over for lunch. I have to say that her mummy is a very good cook! A big thank-you for providing such a truly scrumptious lunch. Also, thanks for inviting us over :)

After hanging around with them, I went to do fringe rebonding at the hair salon. Li Yen tagged along with me cause she wanna get a haircut. Haha.

A random conversation between me and the assistant hair stylist, Vicky.

Vicky: You know, I thought you were a Korean until I heard you speaking Hokkien with Joanne (the senior hair stylist) just now.
Me: Really ah?
Vicky: Yeah, seriously! You definitely do not look like a Malaysian to me. So are you a pure Chinese or mixed-heritage backgrounds??
Me: I'm a pure Chinese *smiles*
Vicky: Oooh okay okay. Has anyone mistaken you for being a Korean before?
Me: Erm actually, yes *laughs softly*
Vicky: But seriously, you look like a Korean la.. By the way, how old are you ah?
Me: Uhh.. 21..
Vicky: Ohh I see..
Me: I know, you must be thinking I'm like 17 or something right?
Vicky: Yeah!! You look very young leh!! Eh like that.. I'm just a year older than you.

& the conversation continues...

Hahahaha. So funny la. She asked me damn a lot of questions wei.. Very talkative and friendly :)

Okay, I'm gonna upload some food pictures now tee-hee.

I'm supposed to be studying for my final exam..

But I can't seem to concentrate! That's why I'm taking a blog break right now. Haha.

So anyway, we went to watch The Time Traveler's Wife last week. Though I've heard that the movie sucks, I insisted on watching it and I thought it was actually quite good.

Yes, I know the ending scene in the movie is different from the novel. I actually haven't read the novel, but I'm planning to do so after the exam!

BTW, I went to collect my new UniSA ID card yesterday morning. It has finally arrived after 8 freaking months!! And the story goes like this..

About 8 months ago, I went to collect my student ID card from the program office and then I saw the expiry date printed on the card, 30/06/2009. Wahlao so fast meh? I've just registered for the course leh..

So I went to ask the person-in-charge about it and I was told that the expiry date on the card is printed wrongly and a new one will be on its way soon.

Right.. I should've asked "how soon is soon?".

Notice the difference between the 2 cards?
Just click on the photo to enlarge it.
(please kindly ignore the ugly photo)

See, I've got 4 student cards to use!
*showing off as if those are credit cards* wtf

Enough of crappy stuff..

Time to get back to revision okbye!

100 Yen Shop

A Japanese merchandise shop.

Last week, after lunch at Pappa Rich, we decided to drop by this shop to check out what kind of things they are selling.

They have a variety of things such as Japanese snacks, noodles, accessories, stationeries, mini household items, etc.

After browsing through the shop, we decided to try out their Charmy Snow Ice.

The special machine used to shave the flavored ice blocks.

The Mango Snow Ice. Loves it.

This mango flavored shaved ice is topped with mango syrup and cubes of fresh mangoes. A very refreshing and cooling dessert, especially on a hot afternoon!

Besides the mango flavor, they have other flavors like strawberry, lychee, milk, peanut, green tea and coffee.

Btw, this particular dessert is said to be non-fattening.

A delicious and nutritious dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth :)

Random things I want to say

The Rules:
- list anything you want to say to people (just anyone)
- do not reveal who they are
- never ever discuss it, ever again

  1. I miss you every single day and it sucks!
  2. Many people have always questioned our friendship, but I never did.
  3. Hey beyotch, I may be childish but you're worse, so grow up and do it fast!
  4. You're not as fun as you used to be and that saddens me a little.
  5. Please don't flatter yourself too often because you're not that special.
  6. You're going to miss me.
  7. You know I can't deny the way I feel inside, I love you :)
  8. I've wanted to say for a long damn time that you've been taking me for granted and I'm totally not cool with it.
  9. Ugh, you're a fucking douche!
  10. You look pretty much the same with or without makeup, still fugly la!
  11. It seems like we're slowly drifting apart.
  12. Actually, I feel sorry for you :(
  13. I bet your brain feels as good as new seeing that you've never used it.
  14. You're a nice friend, but you're just so freaking annoying sometimes.
  15. Hey, you bring all the drama upon yourself.
  16. I've a ridiculous amount of fun when I'm with you.
  17. You act like it's not your fault when really you're the one to blame.
  18. I'm sick of you, what a fucking cheapskate!
  19. I know you're not a genuine friend, but you can go on pretending cause I believe what goes around, come around.
  20. You've changed so much and I don't like it, but I'm learning to accept it.
  21. I hope you'll be able to get everything back on track.
  22. Apparently, I've lost my respect I've had for you.
  23. People make fun of you behind your back while you convince yourself that they think highly of you, or that they're all plainly jealous.
  24. Biatch you stink and quit trying to prevent this odor by using your cheap perfume/cologne excessively as it doesn't make any difference.
  25. I don't care if I'm one of the meanest people you know.
  26. You know you're a materialistic person, just admit it la!
  27. I'm sorry, but you do look like a total gold-digging bitch.
  28. You're pathetic, I really can't think of any other word to describe you.
  29. Its "close" not "clo-si" (in Cantonese slang) you bloody dumbass, learn how to speak proper English before giving people a piece of your mind!
  30. You think you know everything, but you really have no idea.

Alright, I'm done!

I'm still pissed off at that bloody biatch. I can't stand her & her idiotic boyfriend/husband/bastard! Whatever la, we've already filed a complaint against them.

We've officially declared war!
